Hills have much to offer the visitor, with numerous sites of interest
for both the casual visitor and those with a passion for geology,
botany and archaeology. A wide variety of sites worthy of a visit
are spread across the entire region ranging from the dramatic cliffs
of Cheddar Gorge, to the heather-clad uplands of Blackdown; from
the shaded glades of Asham Wood to the spectacular geological unconformity
at Vallis Vale.
