Lithological Description: Laminated reddish brown clays, silts and fine-grained sands.
Definition of Lower Boundary: Placed at junction of laminated clays and silts and the underlying Mathon Sand and Gravel.
Definition of Upper Boundary: Placed at erosion surface that truncates the beds and which is overlain by Coddington Till or Cradley Silts.
Thickness: Up to c.23 metres proved.
Geographical Limits: Cradley Valley between Mathon and Eastnor and Glynch Brook Valley, Hereford and Worcester.
