Definition of Upper Boundary: Drawn at conformable upward passage from the Ward Hill Sandstone to siltstone and mudstone of the Furse Argillaceous Beds at the base of the Observatory Sandstone Formation.
Thickness: c.1600m
Geographical Limits: Shetlands, Scotland.
