Definition of Upper Boundary: Drawn at the conformable upward passage of the flaggy shales to the sandy flags of the Dinas Bran Beds of the Dinas Bran Group.
Thickness: 400 metres approx.
Geographical Limits: The area around Llangollen, Clwyd.
