Lithological Description: |
Semipelite, composed mainly of muscovite, biotite, quartz and feldspar, schistose and locally gneissose, with subordinate thin psammite, quartose semipelite and micaceous psammite bands. The psammite bands become more common towards the overlying Creag Dhubh Psammite Formation. |
