Definition of Lower Boundary: Passes diachronously and conformably downwards and laterally to the south into the conglomerates of the Catterline Conglomerate Formation; taken at the point where sandstone becomes predominant in the upward sequence.
Definition of Upper Boundary: Passes diachronously and conformably upwards and laterally to the north into the Barras Conglomerate Member, taken at the point at which conglomerate becomes predominant.
Thickness: From 230 to 345m
Geographical Limits: Between Law of Lumgair (NO 8525 8180), and Moor of Auchendreich (NO 833 770).
