Definition of Lower Boundary: Base of dacite; unconformable - overlies older parts of the Lingmell Tuff Formation, and locally rests on the Airy's Bridge Tuff Formation (rhyolitic tuffs).
Definition of Upper Boundary: Overlain by the Seathwaite Fell Sandstone Formation (volcaniclastic sandstone and breccia).
Thickness: 0 - 425m
Geographical Limits: Between Little Narrowcove (NY 2250 0675) and Aaron Crags (NY 2293 1038), Cumbria.
Parent Unit: Lingmell Tuff Formation (LME)
