Definition of Upper Boundary: Top of uppermost medium-grained cross-bedded sandstone, below the Dounreay Shore Formation [qv].
Thickness: 90m
Geographical Limits: Onshore and immediately offshore of the Dounreay area, Caithness, Northern Scotland.
Parent Unit: Caithness Flagstone Group (CNFL)
