Lithological Description: Interbedded conglomerates and red mudstones.
Definition of Lower Boundary: Sharp, unconformable junction where basal conglomerates of the formation rest on an erosion surface cut in red mudstones of the Lower Devonian Milford Haven Group.
Definition of Upper Boundary: Sharp, unconformable junction with the overlying Skrinkle Sandstone Group, where the topmost conglomerate of the formation is overlain by mudstones or sandstones.
Thickness: Up to 427 m.
Geographical Limits: Pembroke Peninsula, south-west Wales, from West Angle Bay to Skrinkle Haven.
Parent Unit: Milford Haven Subgroup (MIH)
