Indistinct contact with vitric (welded) tuff of the Thirlmere Tuff Member. |
Definition of Upper Boundary: |
Sharply overlain by lapilli-tuff of the Lincomb Tarns Tuff Formation (undivided). |
Thickness: |
30 - 60m |
Geographical Limits: |
North Lake District immediately east of Thirlmere. |
