Lithological Description: Limestone, medium to pale grey, micrite, vuggy, fossiliferous, Waulsortian build-up.
Definition of Lower Boundary: Appears to be slide plane associated with down slope movement of an allochthonous limestone mud mound into laminated micrites and alternating limestone/shales of the Ballyshannon Limestone Formation.
Definition of Upper Boundary: At the leading edge of the mass, the 'nose' of the allochthonous mud mound disrupts the host shales and limestones of the Ballyshannon Limestone Formation.
Thickness: c.12m
Geographical Limits: Restricted to three isolated knolls in the Belleek area of County Fermanagh in the northwest Carboniferous basin of Ireland.
