Definition of Upper Boundary: Drawn at base of the overlying Callant Limestone of the Upper Liddesdale Group.
Thickness: c. 300 m.
Geographical Limits: Liddesdale, Dumfriesshire and Roxburghshire (now called the Borders Region).
