Definition of Lower Boundary: Basal unit of 1m-thick bed with Myalina rests on rocks of the Sherrycombe Member (q.v.).
Definition of Upper Boundary: Probably a transitional conformable junction with rocks of the Ilfracombe Slates Formation (q.v.); commonly faulted.
Thickness: c.100m
Geographical Limits: North Devon - west Somerset.
