Definition of Upper Boundary: Unconformable with rubbly felsitic "head" deposit, named as the "Kirkhill Gelifluctate I" by Hall and Connell, 1986.
Thickness: c. 5 m.
Geographical Limits: Buchan, northeast Scotland. Mapped on Sheet 87W (Ellon).
