Lithological Description: Pink-grey feldspathic and micaceous psammite, gneissose, locally migmatitic. Medium-coarse grained. Layers of garnet-biotite-muscovite pelite, gneissose to migmatitic. No sedimentary structures preserved.
Definition of Lower Boundary: Unconformable upon Lewisian Gneiss inlier (L); unconformity highly sheared. In many places, base is cut and deformed by the Naver thrust.
Definition of Upper Boundary: Unknown: cut by Torrisdale thrust.
Thickness: c. 250 m (post-deformational thickness).
Geographical Limits: Northern Sutherland: Ben Klibreck to Torrisdale. In Naver thrust sheet only.
