Definition of Lower Boundary: Rests unconformably on the Moine Lough Derg Group psammites.
Definition of Upper Boundary: Conformable and gradational with overlying Ballyshannon Limestone Formation.
Thickness: 20 - 25m
Geographical Limits: Belleek-Kesh area of the northwest Carboniferous basin of Ireland.
