Lithological Description: [Obsolete: use KHS] A breccia band just over a metre thick with roughly equal proportions of Precambrian, Llandovery, and Lower Carboniferous pebbles. In the upper part comprising red pebbly sandstone with coarse breccia.
Definition of Lower Boundary: Drawn at the base of the Lower Kenilworth Breccia Formation where it rests conformably upon the Gibbet Hill Group.
Definition of Upper Boundary: Drawn at the conformable upward passage from the Upper Kenilworth Breccia Formation to the sandstones and marls of the Ashow Formation.
Thickness: 60m.
Geographical Limits: Kenilworth, Warwickshire.
