Lithological Description: Sandstone, red to maroon fine-grained, feldspathic and glauconitic, in gently-tapering beds with bimodal tabular-planar and trough cross-bedding. Interbedded with red and green colour-variegated siltstone and mudstone.
Definition of Lower Boundary: Gradational into Tuttle Hill Member. Base taken at lowest bed to show variegation and increased proportions of variegated silty and muddy partings.
Definition of Upper Boundary: Sharp, erosive contact with grey basal conglomerate or maroon calcareous sandstone of Home Farm Member.
Thickness: 5.5m
Geographical Limits: From Nuneaton town centre, extending north-west for 5.2km to Worthington Farm, Mancetter (SP 3533 9199 - SP 3192 9572).
