Lithological Description: Very dense, clast-supported diamicton comprising angular clasts of greywacke siltstone in a matrix of pale yellowish brown, silty sand.
Definition of Lower Boundary: Generally an unconformable boundary on bedrock. Locally resting on reddish brown, stony clayey diamiction that possibly correlates with the Chapelknowe Till Member of the Gretna Till Formation.
Definition of Upper Boundary: Sharp erosional or gradational, glacitectonic boundary with the overlying undivided Langholm Till Formation.
Thickness: 5m
Geographical Limits: Southern Uplands of Scotland.
Parent Unit: Langholm Till Formation (LHTI)
