Definition of Upper Boundary: Ground surface or disconformably overlain by deposits of the Ross Sand and Bellshill Clay members(Broomhouse Sand and Gravel Formation), the Paisley Clay Member or Bridgeton Sand Member(Clyde Clay Formation)
Thickness: Up to 25 m
Geographical Limits: Clyde valley, west-central Scotland
