Definition of Lower Boundary: Stratigraphical boundary with the underlying Tulaichean Schist Formation. Boundary placed at a massive weathering, dark, garnet-biotite rock, where developed.
Definition of Upper Boundary: Top of prominent blue-grey coarsely crystalline metacarbonate rock below the overlying dominantly graphitic Glen Taitneach Schist Member.
Thickness: 250m
Geographical Limits: Northern part of Glen Shee district.
