Definition of Lower Boundary: Transitional with underlying Coire nan Laogh Semipelite Formation, contact taken at decrease of semipelite to <20% of the succession.
Definition of Upper Boundary: Normal conformable contact with Tarff Banded or Monadhliath Semipelite formations, taken at incoming of semipelite to >20% of the succession.
Thickness: 2500m +
Geographical Limits: Northwestern part of Monadhliath Mountains, particularly in Glen Doe, Corrieyairack Pass and forest areas, and River Fechlin section and surrounding mountains.
