Definition of Upper Boundary: Tectonised junction with the structurally overlying Slochd Psammite Formation. No way-up criteria.
Thickness: In the order of 300 metres.
Geographical Limits: Central Highlands of Scotland. Strathnairn to Findhorn area, in the Tomatin, Aviemore and Nairn districts.
