Definition of Lower Boundary: |
Placed generally where the till overlies the clays and silts of the underlying White House Silts. Locally, the base rests on Mathon Sand and Gravel. |
Definition of Upper Boundary: |
Placed at junction of red till and overlying grey to yellow-brown stony clay solifluction/gelifluction deposits of Colwall Gelifluctate. |
Thickness: |
Maximum proved thickness of c.10 metres. |
