Definition of Upper Boundary: Grey, laminated sandy siltstones overlain by red, trough, cross-bedded and horizontally-laminated, medium-grained sandstone of the Carron Sandstone Formation.
Thickness: From 36 m to 90 m thick.
Geographical Limits: Stonehaven area.
