Definition of Lower Boundary: At upper limit of quartzite of Corryhabbie Quartzite Formation.
Definition of Upper Boundary: At passage from calcareous semipelite and psammite into graphitic pelite of the Allarghe Graphitic Schist Member.
Thickness: c. 300m.
Geographical Limits: Confined to inverted 'tea-cup' shaped outcrop south of Allargue and Corgarff on Upper Donside, cut by Cock Burn and River Don. To south, cut out by Glen Gairn Granite.
Parent Unit: Ballachulish Subgroup (DABH)
