Lithological Description: Diamicton, stony, sandy, strong brown or yellowish brown. Mostly rock types derived short distance to the northwest. Locally containing flint and quartzite from the Buchan Ridge Gravels.
Definition of Lower Boundary: Unconformable on bedrock.
Definition of Upper Boundary: Unconformable with Pitlurg Till Formation or other, younger glacial or glaciofluvial deposits.
Thickness: 2m or more
Geographical Limits: Probably widespread over central Buchan and as pockets to the south and east (beneath Logie-Buchan Glacigenic Subgroup).
Parent Unit: East Grampian (Albion) Glacigenic Subgroup (EGAG)
