Status Code: Pending Upgrade
Age range: Ladinian Age (TD) — Carnian Age (TC)

Overlying and underlying units are both red-brown silty mudstone. Unit includes harder silty mudstone lithologies indistinguishable in field.
Definition of Lower Boundary: Imprecise owing to harder mudstone lithologies; sandstone probably no more than c. 0.6m (proved in a borehole), but the magnitude of the feature suggests the horizon forming it is at least 2m thick.
Definition of Upper Boundary: See lower boundary.
Thickness: 2 - 3 metres (not exposed).
Geographical Limits: Not defined.
