Definition of Upper Boundary: Overlain by Creag Liath Psammite Formation (CGLH); typically marked by a narrow shear zone. Elsewhere overlain by Grampian Shear Zone.
Thickness: 600-700 metres.
Geographical Limits: Central Highlands of Scotland. Newtonmore - Glen Banchor - Kincraig areas.
