ESSP identified an opportunity to bring partners’ data together to develop a service for the UK angling community providing local fishing-related environmental information. Joining up with the Angling Trust, the Environment Agency has supported the development of the Fishing Info website ( which went live in October 2013. The website is fully mobile-responsive in nature so it can be used easily and efficiently on PCs, laptops, tablets and smartphones. In addition to providing a range of information for anglers, the website also provides a link to the Post Office website where rod licences can be purchased.
