Published on Old Series Sheets 37, 38, 40 and 41, before 1845. Surveyed on the six-inch scale by A. Strahan, S.B.N. Wilkinson, T.C. Cantrill, E.E.L. Dixon, H.H. Thomas and O.T. Jones in 1902-06. Published on the one-inch scale in Solid and Drift editions in 1910. Millstone Grit and Coal Measures resurveyed on the six-inch scale and other minor amendments by A.A. Archer in 1951-54 and 1956; V.A. Eyles. F.B.A. Welch, District Geologists.
