Author statement Original geological survey at 1:10 560 scale by J S Grant Wilson, L W Hinxman, H Kynaston, W B Wright, E B Bailey, R G Carruthers and M Macgregor. Originally published at 1:63 360 in 1923 as part of Blackwater sheet. Republished at 1:50 000, without geological revision, as Sheet 54E (Loch Rannoch) in 1974. Partial resurvey on the 1:10 000 and 1:25 000 scale by A G Leslie and M Krabbendam, with C J Banks (University of Keele), 2002-2007, and P A R Nell (University of Manchester), 1979-1981.
