Transfer schedule
The monthly transfer schedules for relocating UKCS cores from Gilmerton (Edinburgh) to the National Geological Repository, at Keyworth, are posted below. This transfer has been completed. The images produced during the relocation can now be viewed using the UKCS (offshore) hydrocarbon wells database.
The cores are being transferred essentially in the order that they were originally received at Gilmerton and the previous UKCS core stores.
Please note that sets of samples from individual wells were sometimes received several years apart, and that the inclusion of a well in a transfer list does not mean that all the material from that well will be transferred.
