Bite Size Science!

For anyone who would like to understand more about the science base which the CWC projects are building on, we present some introductory science videos.

Distinguished scientists gave presentations on meteorology, hydrology and climate science at the joint annual meeting of the CWC and SRM programmes in 2012:

Prof Phil Haygarth presents this video, An Introduction to Soil-Water Transfer, in which he explains the importance of soil in the journey of nutrients from agricultural sources to water.

This video is one of a series produced with funding from a NERC Doctoral Training Programme in collaboration with Lancaster University, The James Hutton Institute and the British Society of Soil Science. The others can be found on the British Society of Soil Science YouTube channel.
