BGS Rock Classification Scheme
Silicate-sandstone - A type of siliciclastic arenaceous rock. In the Rock Classification Scheme, all siliciclastic arenaceous rocks are given this group name. Silicate-sandstones are divided into arenite and wacke on the proportion of matrix. British Geological Survey Research Report RR/99/03, section 2.2 and fig. 3.
