BGS Rock Classification Scheme
Quartz-rich-granitic-rock - A type of quartz-rich-coarse-grained-crystalline-rock. In the Rock Classification Scheme, it is a collective term for granitic rocks in which quartz comprises more than 60% of the felsic minerals.
