Definition Meta-igneous field identifiable pyrox-plag-phyric-andesite protolith. Fine-grained, av. <0.25mm normal crystalline extrus/intrus rock; CI <35vol%, <40wt%; qtz <20% or foid <10% of QAPF, feld >65% plag. Na2O+K2O <7wt%. Pyrox<plag both 5-20% as phenocrysts
