Definition A marble, crystals >50% calcite/aragonite. Deformed (ductile), intensely foliated rock with primary cohesion, containing 10-50% porphyroclasts(commonly lensoid with tails indicating shearing sense) in a finer grained dynamically recrystallised matrix.
