BGS Rock Classification Scheme
Dolomite-microsparstone - A type of dolostone, classified on the basis of its diagenetic texture. It is similar to dolomite-sparstone but with 4 - 32 µm crystal size. Crystals are resolvable under an optical microscope. British Geological Survey Research Report RR/99/03, section 3.2, table 8 and fig. 7.
