Definition Poorly-sorted sediment with wide clast size range, >50% clasts from pre-existing siliceous rocks, <50% >2mm. >20% of clasts chalk (friable porous sedimentary rock, >50% calcite/aragonite particles largely of biogenic origin, usually white & fine-grained).
