Definition Siliciclastic arenaceous protolith >50vol% pre-existing siliceous rock clasts. Clasts >50% or dominantly sand-grade, 0.032-2mm. qtz clasts & qtz cement. Deformed (brittle), no foliation or cohesion, >30% frags coarser than matrix, rotation/granulation
