Obtaining a complete set of the Phase 1 reports
The final report on the Rapid Investigation Phase is divided into a Main Report and five Supplementary Volumes as follows:
S1: Review of existing data
S2: Regional arsenic survey
S3: Modelling studies
S4: Hydrogeochemistry of the special study areas
S5: Arsenic contamination of groundwater in Bangladesh (NGO volume).

The price of the report is £30 (to cover production costs) plus packing and postage. Since the report weighs about 3 kg, air mail is expensive (approximately: UK £10, Europe £31, US/Canada £39, Rest of World £47). Surface mail is considerably cheaper but slower. Please inform the Sales desk of how you want the report to be sent and you will be notified of the cost.
Methods of payment
Payments must be made in pounds sterling by bankers draft or cheque drawn on UK clearing bank. Payment should be made payable to The Natural Environment Research Council or NERC and not BGS.
For overseas customers a pro-forma invoice will be issued detailing all charges including postage and packing charges. Any charges relating to currency conversion must be borne by the customer and the invoice paid in full. The invoice is usually faxed to you.
Where VAT is applicable, European Community customers must supply their VAT registration number. If your number is not quoted VAT will be charged at the appropriate rate at the time of invoicing. If you have any doubts whether VAT is applicable when placing an order please quote your number.
Alternatively payment may be made by Visa or MasterCard credit card. You should quote your card number, date of expiry and the registered address, i.e. the address to where your statements are sent.
