Joining AGID
Would you like to become a member of AGID and read the Geoscience
and Development journal? It provides members with geoscientific news
from around the world and keeps them abreast of AGID activities and
events.
Are you keen to encourage communication between all individuals,
societies, agencies and corporations with an in interest in the application
of the geosciences to international development?
Would you like to encourage and promote activities in geoscience
fields related to the needs of developing countries?
If so, AGID is for you.
How to join AGID?
Any individual may become a member of AGID. At its peak AGID had over
2500 members in 120 countries and currently has around 500 members in
70 countries. To become a new member, renew your current membership or
make a donation, simply complete the attached membership form. The following
levels of membership are currently available:
- Annual
- Student
- Life
- Corporate/Institution
- Student Association
- Local Association
Annual membership dues
Annual membership dues are US$5 (or equivalent) for members in developing
countries and US$20 (or equivalent) for members in developed countries.
Institutional membership is also available. For full details of rates

Methods of payment
Payment can be made by cheque, cash or by payment in kind. Unfortunately
AGID does not have the facilities to accept credit card payment.
