Shaun is an analytical geochemist with over 20 years' experience in field sampling and site investigation, inorganic analysis, laboratory method development and geochemical data interpretation. He is presently BGS Laboratory Operations Manager with corporate responsibility for overseeing the management of a wide range of BGS laboratory capability.
The BGS has a diverse range of modern laboratories covering all aspects of the geological sciences. Our research covers a variety of applications, including environmental health and pollution, climate change, carbon capture and storage, energy, geosphere containment, groundwater resources, and land use planning and development.
